About the Role

Your role is to make sure that our products delight our customers! This requires working in a cross-functional environment between the Engineering, Product & Design, Customer Success, and Business Development teams. Throughout your work you will keep a mindful eye on how we can make the product better. While this includes conventional QA responsibilities - such as devising test plans, implementing quality verification schemes, organizing test results, etc. - it also means that you’ll have significant influence over the Product, Design, & Engineering efforts to improve the product. It is your responsibility to be a proponent of the product quality. You will need to be fast-paced, innovative, and comfortable identifying tradeoffs that align with the priorities of the company.

What you will do

  • Work closely across Engineering (cloud + mobile), Product & Design, and Customer Success; provide feedback and innovative ideas that improve the product; and ensure an amazing customer experience.
  • Develop Manual and Automated Tests for our native mobile application for Android and iOS.
  • Help translate product vision into hard and soft acceptance criteria, coordinate mobile release cycles, and deliver mobile applications in a fast-paced environment.
  • Implement the QA processes and systems that lay the foundation for growing a successful QA organization.

In 3 months…

  • Learn how the product works, understand the current processes around product development, and begin to master the product vision.
  • Start designing and implement manual & automated tests
  • Provide product feedback.

In 6 months

  • Implement company-wide mobile QA processes.
  • Fully understand the product vision, soft vs hard requirements, and become comfortable making resource-constrained tradeoffs.
  • Own mobile releases (go/no-go call, customer release notes).
  • Provider extensive product feedback.

In 9 months

  • Improve company-wide mobile QA processes
  • Lead others in testing mobile application across the company.
  • Continue to provide extensive product feedback
  • Become self-directed in identifying product gaps and ensuring the QA role fulfills the needs of the company.

What the application process looks like

  1. Apply: Introduce yourself and send us your resume at hello@codexhealth.com.
  2. Screen: Our Head of Engineering will reach out to schedule a 50-minute virtual/in-person interview if it looks like a good fit. This first interview will be centered around sharing more about Codex as a company, the role, your interests + values, and pair programming on a technical question.
  3. Team Interviews: After that initial screen, you may then have 2-3 virtual/in-person technical interviews with members of the team. The technical interview questions will include a mix of logical problem solving, pair debugging, and system & process design.
  4. Final Round: If all goes well, you’ll then have a chance to speak with the CEO and meet the team in person!
