About the Role

Codex Health is looking for a Product Design Intern who wants to learn about what it means to be part of a small, but mighty design team in the healthcare industry. We want you to experience what it means to be part of a full design process from ideation to delivery. We’re looking for a curious and motivated individual interested in gaining experience building products to help patients have improved health outcomes.

What You Will Do

  • Design pixel perfect mocks using our component library and existing visual style
  • Brainstorm and execute on new features in our patient-facing mobile app, Allie, and our clinician-facing website, Foresight
  • Help organize and facilitate user research sessions with people who have the same health conditions as our patients
  • Be an active member in our twice weekly Design Jam sessions
  • Learn about the health conditions of our patients and experience what it’s like to be a patient
  • Collaborate with our mobile and website engineering teams to bring your designs from Figma to code and then into the hands of patients and clinicians
  • Learn about the Codex business goals and how our products can meet those needs
  • Ask questions. Be curious. And most of all, have fun building great products with a passionate and experienced team

What the Application Process Looks Like

  1. Apply: Introduce yourself and send us your resume at careers@codexhealth.com
  2. Screen: If it looks like a good fit, we’ll reach out to schedule a 50-minute virtual interview. This first interview will be centered around sharing more about Codex, the role, your interests, and a review of 1-2 case studies from your portfolio. For your case studies, we are less interested in the results, and more interested in your design process and decision-making.
  3. Team Interviews: After that initial screen, you will then have 3-4 virtual interviews with members of the team ranging from product managers to developers to designers.
