About the Role

Codex Health develops clinical intelligence solutions for healthcare providers and mobile apps for patients to bring the power of data-driven decision making into healthcare workflows. Our products synthesize multiple information sources, and use powerful algorithms and AI to provide analytics and insights that apply all the way from population health to the individual patient. Our goal is to facilitate proactive care to improve patient outcomes and lower costs. 

What you will do

• Use publicly available information to rapidly assemble an understanding of the market
• Contribute to market segmentation and identifying key sectors 
• Generate qualified leads to build out our sales funnel
• Prospect potential customers via cold calling, email, or other forms of communication to navigate target organizations and identify the right individuals to connect with
•  Work with the head of BD, CEO and management team to qualify prospects
• Maintain the client database to ensure the sales team can access current information

What we’d like you to bring to the table

• A bachelor’s degree is preferred 
• You must possess a high degree of curiosity to learn about the space and a strong drive to make an impact at an early-stage startup
• 2-5 years of experience in a business development or sales role
• Working knowledge of the sales process and familiarity with CRM software
• Very good written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel as needed
• Prior background in healthcare or health tech is a bonus but not required.
